The Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2002 Business Awards on November 16, 2002 at the Best Western Sherwood Hotel and Conference Centre. The winners were Verve Salon & Spa Ltd. for Most Promising New Business, Sherwood Park School of Dance for Long Term Service Award, Millarcom Inc. for Outstanding Home-based Business, Hallmark Card Shop for Customer Client Service, and Daryl Meyer of Meyer's Insurance Ltd. for Business Person of the Year.
